Fit for Royalty Challenge!

With Flourishes celebrating its second birthday, we know one thing is clear -- our customers are worth their weight in gold! To get ready for our smash release in August (wait 'til you see what we have in store - squeal!), we wanted to set the scene by honoring our customers who we consider - royalty!

That's why we are ushering a challenge to all of you!

HOW TO PLAY: Try to create a card fit for a king or queen! Use regal embellishments, a lavish paper, a beautiful image, glitz it up! Link your creation to this post on the Flourishes Newsletter. If you upload to Splitcoast - please use the keyword FLLCAUG. Be sure to link back to this post! That is what will keep you in the running! You have until Friday, August 14th at 5 PM Eastern to have your creation uploaded! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

WHAT YOU COULD WIN: All of our new releases that will be revealed starting next Wednesday, August 12th over on the Flourishes Newsletter.

We asked our Senior Design Team to dream up a little glitz and glam to get read for our Royal Challenge!

Latisha has a beautiful distressed lace heart - aged to perfection - that is embellished with a gorgeous strand of bling! She added only the best silk ribbon for a friend she treasures!
Laura added the Midas touch to her card with gilded Sweet Violets, a golden ribbon and beautiful golden tag. When it comes to card creations - it's solid gold!
Leslie took her gold to the max as well with a fancy stenciled flourish die, a beautifully regal brad and some fabulous bling! Her watercolored sweet peas are fit for a queen!
Stacy took her glam and put a modern spin on it! Afterall, princesses still have to text - don't they? :-) She took Chloe from the Gigi and Chloe set, added some Flourished Elements, a beautiful velvet ribbon and a regal looking ribbon slide to add the perfect finishing touches!

Next up is yours truly- Julie - with flowers fit for the Flourishes Royal Court! Mix the Spellbinders Classic Frame die with silk ribbon in all it's splendor, and some bling -- and you get these grand poppies that actually do... pop!
Faith got incredibly creative and made her rose regal... by making it a crowned beauty! What a beautiful rose, watercolored and adorned with some beautiful gold accents - a crown and some fabulous decorative details thanks to the Lace and Trims set!

Fleur de Lis borders, gorgeous silk ribbon and a fabulous ribbon slide accented with a jeweled brad - it all adds up to this gorgeous Sweet Peas creation thanks to Cindy!
Christine's card takes on a black tie feel, like this card is dressed up in its best tux, red rose in hand! I love the black on black effect with the embossed flourishes on the base part of the mat! Beautiful accents thanks to some black pearls and elegant Spellbinders shapes wrap this one up with a bow!

If you'd like to learn more about any one of our fabulous designers' creations, just hop on over to their blog for more details!

We hope you make time to play! Afterall, if you win, you will be the first to get your hands on our August release where we have 3 full sets and a beautiful accent stamp created.... just for YOU!

Thanks for stopping by!

  15. I don't have to much gold since I am a silver gal myself. I used a "flourish" design across the top. The heart in the center is raised with pop dot. Not as "regal" as everyone elses but I literally get stumped when it comes to gold..

    Here is my card
