Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC18)!!!! Thanks so much to all of you who participated in last week's sponge challenge. Keep reading to find out who won! Also, the May Winner pick is up, too!

For those of you who are new, the Friends of Flourishes blog team are bringing you exciting and different challenges each week. Everyone can PLAY and anyone can WIN! Make sure you continue reading to find out how.

This week Kimberly Crawford is hosting the challenge. She is challenging us to use frames. Now, frames can be something as simple as adding a matt to the main image to "frame" it out, or adding some marker detailing around the main image to create a doodle frame or faux layered frame. In addition to these, you can create your own frames with spellbinder diecut shapes using different materials. There are also ready made frames that you may have to add to your card. Whichever type of frame you choose, we would love to see what you create!!!

A big shout out and a warm welcome to Connie McCotter who has agreed to be a guest designer with us for June!!!! Thanks so much Connie. We love your style and cannot wait to see what else you create with Flourishes stamps!

Let's go see what the blog design team created with the "Frame It" Challenge!

Up first is Silke Ledlow . She is using the Sweet Pea stamp set. Love colors and the texture, Silke!!! Silke has colored these sweet peas beautifully. Love the textured kraft frame for the image. Silke also used a nestabilities tag for her sentiment. Love how she accented the image and the sentiment with varying sizes of silver domes. Beautifully done, Silke!!!

Up next is Betty Wright. I am using the Nasturtiums stamp set. I stamped my image with Palette Noir ink and colored it with copics. I just love this flower set. There are so many wonderful images in the set. For the "frame it" challenge, I added a repeated loopy die cut around my rectangle frame to create a light feeling frame. I love how it turned out.

Next up is Cindy Haffner. She is using the Flourished Christmas set. Cindy is using this set for a card that could be used for an event other than Christmas. I love the monochromatic feel and the light and dark hues. Cindy also create a frame for the beautiuflly flourished deer with the nestabilities label four die cuts. Beautiful, Cindy!!!

Last up this week is our guest designer, Connie McCotter. She is using the Nasturtiums stamp set. Connie is using one of the many images in this set to accent her nestabilities label four created pattern frame. Love these colors and the beautiful coloring, Connie!!! Connie finished her card with a few pearls as accents. Wonderful card, Connie!!!
