Fit For Royalty.... Winners!

Hi all! Time to wrap up our Fit for Royalty challenge with a bow... or should it be a crown? We had so many amazing entries during the past week that our jaws continually dropped when we clicked on each link! The creativity was off the charts!

While you didn't have to use Flourishes stamps to be in the running, we wanted to honor some of those entries that did use our stamps! There were so many gorgeous projects, we wanted to have a little show and tell and offer up some suprises to those that created some of our favorite cards!

Just in case you missed the drawing at last night's release party, we threw all the names into a hat and the winner was... drum roll please....

Karen a.k.a. 1WackyWomen!

Karen won all three of our new releases plus our fabulous new background stamp! Karen, if you are reading this here, all you need to do is email us at flourishesllccustomerservice@cox.net to claim your prize and give us your snail mail addy!

Did you see Karen's fabulous card? She created a stunner! We just have to share!!

Just because Karen walked away with the grand prize doesn't mean we don't have some goodies for some of the other entrants! No! We picked three other winners based on their creations and these fine card makers will get a special never before released stamp set! So, congrats to....

Peggy Sue

We loved Peggy's use of color, that fabulous handmade chiffon flower and the beautiful lace! It is definitely fit for a princess!

Ravengirl!

We absolutely loved the simple elegance of this card. It is understated but yet is so classy with the addition of those fabulous pearls. It's very Princess Diana!

Before we go, we have some more fabulously loyal and royal friends of Flourishes to add to our Royal Court. If you stopped by last Wednesday, you saw we made Lois Bak the 'Queen' of our Royal Court! As we celebrate our second anniversary, we thought, why not honor this loyalty by making some of our best and brightest customers... royalty! We could literally "crown" them as one of our most precious gems in business.

This week, we looked to the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge Players! Not one, but TWO ladies rose to the top!

This week we hereby crown.....

In the 28 weeks that the Friends of Flourishes have ushered in their Timeless Tuesday challenges, Liz has missed only two! And, there have been many weeks that she linked up not one, but two or three or even four cards! We love her committment and style!

We also crown..... 'Lovely Linda' as many call her might have missed a few challenges but there is no doubt - she's got the Timeless Tuesday Fever! After we looked at all the challenges and her entries - she's submitted well over 50 cards for our FTTC challenges! You go girl!

Ladies, we love your vim and for it, you officially join Lois as members of our Royal Court! We'll be sending some goodies your way!

Tomorrow, we'll continue our sneak peeks and this honors a whole new kind of fresh pick -- one that comes in a bundle and brings lots of joy!

See you tomorrow!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC28)!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC28)!!! I am so glad to have my computer up and running and blogging again. A big thanks to Julie for stepping in and doing the FTTC post for us.
Thanks so much to all of you who participated in last week's hardware challenge! Keep reading to find out who won! Plus, the July monthly winner is posted this week, too.

The Friends of Flourishes blog design team are bringing you exciting and different challenges each week. Everyone can PLAY and anyone can WIN! Make sure you continue reading to find out how.

This week Silke Ledlow is our challenge host. Silke is challenging us to score it!!! We are to use any scoring tool we have to create score detailing on our cards. If you do not have any neat scoring device, no fear, scoring can be done with the groove of a trimmer and a bone folder or stylus. Your designs can be very intricate to classically simple. Whatever design you go for, we'd love to see what you create.

Let's go see what the blog design team created with score detailing for you this week.

Up first this week is our challenge host, Silke Ledlow . Silke is using the I Love Roses stamp set. What a beauty!!! Silke scored a grid background to showcase her beautifully colored stemmed rose. Silke colored her rose using the Flourishes Copic Color Collections in Hydrangea and Fields. Silke finished with a wonderful sentiment that comes with the set and some silver pearls. Beautifully done, Silke.

Next up this week is Dee Jackson. Dee is using the Waterlilies and Many Sentiments stamp sets. Dee scored a double edged frame to showcase her beautifully colored waterlilies. Dee is using Flourishes classic white cardstock which is wonderful for coloring with copics. She colored the waterlilies and lily pads with Flourishes Copic Color Collections in Delphinium, Sky, and Fields. She finished her card with some touches of rhinestones. Wonderfully done, Dee!!!

Up next is Kimberly Crawford. Kimberly is using Life, Love and Lemons stamp set. Kim scored a harlequin section below her lemon topiary. I love how the scored pattern and texture works with the pattern dp. Kim is using the Flourishes classic white cardstock. She colored the lemon topiary with Flourishes Copic Color Collections in Buttercup, Spring Greens, and Flesh Tones 2. Kim finished her card with a sewn border and gingham with button detailing. Fabulously done, Kim!!! (Picture removed for publication)!

Up next is Betty Wright. I am using Summer Botanicals and Timeless Quote stamp sets. I scored a harlequin pattern to use as texture pattern paper for my background. I also repeatedly scored an 1/8" vertical on chocolate cardstock to create a faux ribbon band behind my focal point. I stamped two flowers from the Summer Botanicals set, added a quote and a few tiny touches of rhinestones on the flowers, and some ribbon tabs to complete my clean and simple card.

Last up this week is Cindy Haffner. Cindy is using the Coffee with Friends and Life, Love and Lemons stamp set. I love the rich cafe mocha shades Cindy has paired this set with. Cindy scored pattern paper for her background. I love how the subtle dp patterns play with the textured score lines. Cindy is using Flourishes classic white cardstock. She colored the coffee cups with Flourishes Copic Color Collections in Dusty Rose, Tea Rose, Fields, and Warm Neutrals. Cindy finished her card with some pierce detailing and wonderful ribbon!!! Gorgeous card, Cindy!!!

I MADE A MISTAKE SO HERE'S TO THE WINNERS

WINNERS......

---The Troops: They will be receiving the cards from your great outpouring through your graciousness and creativity. We thank them for their generous support of our nation and the continuance of the daunting task of trying to keep the world at peace. Thank you, to each and every service member that so proudly serves in our military.

---Wounded Warriors: These service members gave so very preciously. The Wounded Warrior project are winners, as they will soon get a check from part of the profits of the sale of the Patriotism on Parade set.

---Our WINNERS: Drum roll please............

AMBER SHAW--You are our grand prize winner of the $50.00 gift certificate to spend at FLLC. This lady by far sent more cards to us than anyone else. She sent boxes that were so packed with cards they were bursting at the seams. Her devotion to our soldiers is awesome. If I still worked for the U.S. Army, I would ask for a commendation for her.

For the next two winners I placed all the names in a hat of stampers that sent us cards. For me it was the very fairest way to give the two $25.00 gift certificates away.

So those winner are:

Sharon Lemon and Debbie Wilson

Ladies, you are our lucky winners of a gift of $25.00 certificate to spend in Flourishes store.

Congratulation to each of you ladies. Please contact Nancy at flourishesllcustomerservice@cox.net for your gift certificate codes.

Thanks again from myself, Nancy, and Sharon to EVERYONE that participated. You are the very finest!

Ciao,
