One Rose...Many Looks!

I Want to show you today the different looks that can be achieved with just one stamp set, I Love Roses, and different papers, inks, embellishmentsThe first one was one of the most simple of them all with just two colors, black and white.

with white embossing power on black, white satin ribbon you can be ready for any occasion with just a little different sentiment.

Paper: black, white Stamps: I Love Roses Ink: Nior Black, Versa Mark Misc: White Satin Ribbon

The next card is done In Basic Gray DP Two Scoops. Who would have thought this set of paper would have a plaid in it, and with a solid tone paper to match. The tag dp paper is also in the pad. I just added a bright red to set off the plaid, which I believe sets off the rose too.

I almost always have to have a little ribbon, even if only a little shows.

Paper: BG Two Scoops, SU rred, hhunter, ppink Ink: Palette L'amore red, SU red, green Misc: Spellbinders tags trio, water pen, inkssentials white pen, MayArts scalloped pink ribbon

The third card I stamped twice on watercolor paper, used a water pen and SU markers to color. The second image was cut out in pieces and glued to the first image, with a quickie glue pen, for added dimension. Then a color wash was added to the background.

All of the ink was SU classic ink or markers so I have to use caution when coloring with a water pen.

The panels were cut using Spellbinders long rectangles with a ticket punch on the white layer at the corners. Last was added a touch of ribbon and flat backed pearls.

Paper: BG Sprout, Stratmore watercolor paper Inks: SU plum, eggplant, pale plum, green, olive, carmel, white Misc: pearls, MA ribbon, water pen

There are several images in the I Love Rose set that can be used to make a ATC. This one used one of the newer dp papers from Basic Gray, called urban Prairie. What a great pair up with black.
Black paper, black pearls, black ink, and a mostly black glazed brad.

Paper: BG Urban Prairie, black, white, bblue Ink: Nior Black, coral, mustard, celery, green, summer sun Misc: black pearls, water pen, dauber , glazed brads

Oh! Euphoria, that paper collection has so many wonderful colors in it which makes it ideal for a bouquet of roses.

I masked the pink rose using eclipse tape to achieve a bouquet feel to the roses.

I added just one solid paper, well....not counting the white, I almost forget it's white after sponging the background. Then for added sparkle I used the stardust pen on the yellow roses.

Paper: BG Euphoria, white, bliss blue Ink: Claret, Raw Sienna, SU ssun, rose red, green and a touch of carmel & blue Misc: Water pen (I don't know what I would have done without this) stardust glitter pen, Spellbinders classic rectangles, sheer dot ribbon

Finally to the last card and one I made at the last minute, manly because I need a Wedding card this month.
Again I used I Love Roses, stamped with Vera Mark and embossed in gold. It is cut with Spellbinders labels two, layered on a vellum panel that was dry embossed with cuttle bug folder.
The paper is vanilla and vellum, added embellishment, latte pearl on ivory ribbon. The sentiment is from Wedding Essentials.
Just imagin what you can do with other sentiments and unlimited ideas using other papers, inks and embellisments. Oh, I did not even get to the twinkling H2O's that make the images sparkle!
Look here for addition information on how the cards were made.
