Cards for Troops--WOW

I am writing this post with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. In fact before the picture was taken I was sent to get myself camera ready.

Why you might ask is she so chocked up? Simply the unselfish giving of your cards. Why we even had a Canadian send cards to us. The details in the cards, the often matching envelopes, the bundling, the packing and many paid to have them sent USPS Priority mail! Totally Amazing!!!

This picture shows most of the cards. One entire box was not seen as we readied the table for this shot. This next shot is just the sheer height and width of the pile.....8" high and 28 " wide and that is just the center pile. The postal crate is full and two more boxes one 8" x 11" jammed so full that even the thinest paper could not be added. Another box is very large with each card and envelope all snug as a bug in zip Lock bags....just way too much to grasp in this photo.

Thank you from Nancy, Sharon, and me. I am very proud of the outpouring that was made for our project. Nancy is tallying the numbers from the sale of the Patriotism on Parade. We will be reporting back as our check is written.

You ladies make us so proud to be a part of this group. What wondrous caring! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Ciao,

The cards are overwhelming! I hope you do this again. I will be saving cards just for this reason.
