Some Hellos..... and some goodbyes!

As the design team coordinator for Flourishes, I have the honor and privilege of working with some of the best designers out there. Words can't express just how much they've taught me, made me laugh and felt like sisters! Two of those designers are Susan Roberts and Linda Duke. Both of their styles are off the charts beautiful and I have learned a thing or two (or three, or four) from them both as well. That's why it's with a sad heart that we say goodbye to these two talented designers! They've served their six months with the team and now they are off to cultivate their creativity in other ways! We wish them all the best!

Now, to the "hellos!" We are welcoming two new faces to our Friends of Flourishes blog team! This team began as a way to show how diverse artists could use these gorgeous stamps in ways that many of us would never have dreamed of! So, please welcome Kimberly Crawford and, welcome back Dee Jackson! Kimberly's work first caught my eye last summer while I was blog surfing and I've "kept tabs" on her ever since! She has such a creative, fresh, and scrappy style! She is one creative cookie and I can't wait to get to know her better!

Here's a bit from Kim in her own words.....

"Hi! My name is Kimberly Crawford and I am honored to be joining the Friends of Flourishes Blogger Team!! My husband, son, cat, and I live in northern Minnesota, right next to Lake Superior. My busy family and the beautiful nature surrounding me provide a lot of inspiration. I currently work as the class instructor at my LSS. As a former elementary teacher, I love the chance to get to teach again! I love paper crafting, it is my creative release and, outside my family, it is my passion. My style is simple and clean, but I enjoy experimenting with new products and new techniques. I have had the privilege of my work published in Scrapbook Trends, Cards, Paper Crafts, handmade, and in 2009Paper Crafts."

To get ready for her big reveal here, Kim made this beautiful card using the All That Glitters set in a way I haven't see before! I love the non-traditional colors she used and that sparkle is to die for! Welcome aboard Kim! We can't wait to see all the wonderful things you have in store in the months to come! It's homecoming for this next designer! Dee Jackson served on one of Flourishes very first Design Teams! Well, thankfully, she wanted to come back and be on our blog team! Dee has such a crisp, clean look. Flourishes stamps in Dee's hands are just such a natural fit! We are glad to have her back!

You can check out her blog HERE and some of her past work with Flourishes HERE!

To get ready for her come back, Dee whipped up this beautiful creation using the All that Glitters set! Her card creates a window of sorts to showcase those fabulous pine cone ornaments!

We hope you give these ladies a warm welcome! We know they are bound to inspire when we unveil their creations on our Flourishes Friday roundup!

Stay tuned! A Featured Stamper is on it's way and we'll have that for you soon!
